TORONTO, September 21, 2021 / CNW / – LUG Sports, an organizer of men’s, women’s and co-ed sports leagues and social events for students, has officially launched the 2021 season of the LUG Hockey League.
LUG hockey leagues are designed from top to bottom with the student lifestyle in mind. Programming of games around major student events, such as exam periods, hatchbacks and parties; to provide replica team jerseys for all players, quality products, unique partnerships, bar and restaurant offerings, fun competition and a real sense of community that players know and seek.
Leagues start at the end of October and players can create their own teams or register as a free agent. Each team competes to become a division champion and qualify for regional and national finals tournaments.
âWhen I got to college, it was like my hockey career had just ended. Like most amateur players, my career has never meant much, but to go from playing everyday to barely playing has been a big shock to the system, âsays Ethan Wright, co-president of LUG. âThat’s why we created LUG Sports. We wanted to give players more opportunities to continue playing competitive and fun with their friends. This included better stats, jerseys and a community with a fully customized schedule and experience, âexplains Ray abramson, co-president of LUG Sports.
The LUG Hockey season is now open for registrations. Places are limited and are available on a first come, first served basis. If you don’t see your school on the list of locations, contact LUG for the chance to establish a new campus franchise.
